Living Out the Christian Faith: Ethics 101

How do we live out the Christian faith in everyday life? How do we navigate questions about ourselves, our neighbors, and the world around us? What does it look like to live as believers in a world that often challenges our beliefs? Christian ethics is applying the knowledge of God to our actions, attitudes, and personal character in a way that brings honor and glory to God. In this course, learn how to approach the questions of ethics and Christian life through a framework of Scripture and God's good design.

How to Grow in Christlikeness: Spiritual Formation 101

Spiritual formation is the process by which the Spirit conforms us to our true image, Jesus Christ, who is our life. In this course, you'll be encouraged and challenged in your own walk with Christ. Learn what Scripture tells us about the daily rhythms of sanctification, how the church fathers and mothers lived their lives for God, and how to embrace your identity in Christ. Measure your understanding and put into practice the principles you learn through quizzes and assignments and dive deeper into study through recommended reading.

The World of the Bible: Historical and Cultural Context 101

The Bible was written thousands of years ago to, by, and about people who were very different from us today. In this course, learn to see the Bible through the lens of a different time, place, and people. Through lectures, quizzes, and downloadable resources, learn about the lifestyles, values, outlooks, and geography that shaped Scripture. Put on the lenses of the Ancient Near East and see the Word of God in its world as an invaluable influence of how you understand its impact for us and for now.

How to Lead and Serve Women: Practical Ministry 101

Ministry is both practical and theological. As we step into ministry and leadership, questions arise: How do we care for our own souls as we lead? What do I do as a mentor? How do I handle conflict biblically? Where do I begin when starting a women's ministry or a Bible study in my church? How do I handle crisis situations that arise in ministry?
The answers to these questions are based in our theology with a practical application. In this 10-session course, you will learn from experienced leaders all about the logistics of ministry to women, while also being reminded of the why—the reason we serve and lead and minister to those around us.

How to Study the Bible: Hermeneutics 101

The goal of this 10-session online, on-demand course is to equip you and build your confidence in studying and teaching the Bible for yourself. If you’ve ever wondered how Bible study authors and teachers mine Scripture for the truth about God and applications for our lives today, you’re in the right place.
Learn about the history of the Bible, interpretive methods, the metanarrative of Scripture, and more. Take quizzes and work through assignments to measure your progress in learning. Check out recommended reading and attend a virtual study workshop in the inductive method of Bible study.
