Mark, 1 Kings, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, Acts
This spring, students will dive into the biblical genres of Gospels, History, and Poetry/Wisdom. In the Gospel of Mark we will journey with King Jesus through Passion Week, which culminates in His death and resurrection.In 1 Kings, we will be introduced to King Solomon, and the books of Ecclesiastes and Song of Songs will help us understand how to live wisely in God’s world. Lastly, the book of Acts will teach us about Jesus’s ascension and the formal beginning of the church. Together, we will learn that God is King and we are citizens of His kingdom. As kingdom citizens, we are to live wisely and reflect God’s goodness into the world. (13 Sessions)
