Women's Ministry Leader Cohort
An 8-week Cohort for New Women's Ministry Leaders
Start Date & Time: October 1-December 3, 2026 (Thursdays, 7:00 p.m. CT)
Meeting Platform: Zoom
Connect and learn from one another as you start up your women's ministry or refresh an ongoing ministry.
Are you stepping into women's ministry for the first time or looking for a reset in how you lead the women in your ministry?
The New Women's Ministry Leader Cohort is a guided, eight-week journey designed to help you build a strong foundation for long-term impact. You’ll connect with peers from across the country, learn from experienced leaders, and leave with practical tools for launching and sustaining healthy ministry.
This cohort is built around the Lifeway Women Academy course on How to Lead and Serve Women: Practical Ministry 101, featuring teaching sessions taught by Jen Wilkin, Dr. Kelly King, Dr. Lily Park, and Dr. Emily Dean.
Each week you will be assigned a teaching video from the Lifeway Women Academy course to watch prior to meeting with this cohort. Lifeway Women trainers, Anne Harrison and Kathy Howard, will facilitate collaborative discussions on what you learned from that week’s teaching videos. Further instructions and access to the Lifeway Women Academy course will be provided one week prior to the start of the cohort.
Weekly Topics:
Week 1: Intro to Practical Ministry & Vision and Purpose for Women’s Ministry in the Local Church

Week 3: Biblical Conflict Resolutions
Week 4: Women in Crisis
