Welcome to Worthy Vessel, an in-depth six-session study of 2 Timothy! This letter from the apostle Paul to Timothy has been a treasure of spiritual truths for centuries. As you explore the relationship between Paul and his young disciple, you will be challenged to live as a worthy vessel of the gospel of Jesus Christ, encouraging others to walk in faith as you deliver the message God has entrusted to you.

Video Sessions

• Session 1: Our Purpose (7:25)—Author Amy Byrd introduces the study, providing girls with an overview of 2 Timothy and helping them identify the relationship between Paul and Timothy.
• Session 2: The Gift of God (6:58)—As Amy walks girls through 2 Timothy 1, she teaches about the importance of biblical community.
• Session 3: We are Called (4:23)—Focusing on 2 Timothy 2:1-13, Amy Byrd emphasizes the importance of walking in obedience to God’s call as she helps us picture the circumstances Paul was enduring as he sat in prison yet wrote of life, endurance, and faithfulness.
• Session 4: Let’s Be Real (7:19)—Reading through 2 Timothy 2:14-26, Amy challenges girls to address their sin and point people to Jesus.
• Session 5: Listen Closely (6:01)—As Amy teaches through 2 Timothy 3, she invites girls to grow in their faith so that they will be “equipped for every good work” (2 Tim. 3:17).
• Session 6: Fulfill Your Ministry (5:21)—As 2 Timothy comes to a close, Amy points out the importance of being a worthy vessel, pouring ourselves out in ministry so that others may see Christ in us.
