If you’re looking for fresh inspiration, or if you’re stuck living under the weight of a story you can’t shake off, the parables of Jesus can form who we are and reveal more about God than we ever thought possible—and they’ll provide the hope we’re all looking for.

Through six sessions, you’ll hear directly from Jesus through the Word. His parables not only form (or reform) who we are, they reveal more about God than we ever thought possible. They provide the hope we’re looking for, speaking above all the other noise we may be experiencing.

Video Sessions:

• Session 1: Why Parables? (10:20)—In this session, Pastor Daniel Fusco discusses how Jesus was a master-teacher who made the truths of God simple enough for anyone to understand. To encounter the stories Jesus told, we must read our Bibles where we will find that Jesus often told simple stories to illustrate a spiritual truth.
• Session 2: The Parable of the Soils (11:54)—In this session, Pastor Daniel Fusco talks about the parable of the soils, a story Jesus told about four different types of soils, or conditions of the heart: a hard heart, shallow heart, worldly heart, and a heart that is open to God.
• Session 3: The Parable of Lost Things (10:33)—In session 3, Pastor Daniel Fusco shares about God's love for lost things. To illustrate this point, Jesus told two stories about two lost objects—the parables of the lost coin and the lost sheep.
• Session 4: The Parable of the Wheat and Weeds (13:05)—Pastor Daniel Fusco teaches about the parable of the wheat and the weeds, which gives us helpful information for managing our expectations and living within a church that can often be messy.
• Session 5: The Parable of the Prodigal Son (11:02)—In this session, Pastor Daniel Fusco looks at the parable of the prodigal son and leads us to consider how we might be squandering our relationship with the Father.
• Session 6: The Parable of the Talents (12:22)—In this final session, Pastor Daniel Fusco teaches about the parable of the talents. In this story we learn that God expects us to be faithful with what He gives us.
