The Magi's story has so much to say to us—about trust, faith, and the blessings of following God. The lessons learned by these steadfast travelers are beautifully illuminated in Dennis and Nan Allen's new dramatic musical Star of Wonder. We hear about the Magi through conversations among those who may have encountered them on their journey: the merchant, who sold the Magi all of his frankincense and myrrh; the Innkeeper's children, who observed the weary travelers laden with mysterious gifts; and the shepherds, who heard that the Magi had also met the Savior. Through their stories, which are combined with accessible Christmas songs both new and familiar, we are compelled to reconsider the most important journey of life: our journey to the Savior.
