Small Group Life: Connections advocates a life based on the cord with three strands from Ecclesiastes to a life led "going it alone." We are directed into marriage for companionship, while friendship and community are held in the highest regard. And it's worth reiterating that God Himself lives in perfect community within the Personhood of the Trinity. We are wired for connections at varying levels and layers of life, and the enemy tirelessly works to separate us, create divisions, and drive us to isolation.
