Nobody Can Be You Better Than You

Have you ever looked in the mirror and wished something was different about you? Or wondered why God made you the way He did? Or maybe you just feel like you live in a world not made for you?

We live in a world that is constantly telling us that we need to be someone else. The world tells us that to be accepted and loved, we have to look a certain way and act a certain way. How are you expected to have confidence when you are constantly being told you need to be someone else?

These are all questions that I have asked myself. Being born with dwarfism led me to believe that I would always be different than everyone else around me. For so long, I rooted my confidence in things that were constantly changing, like my appearance and who liked me. My life changed when my eyes were opened to see that I had no confidence because I was placing it in myself and my circumstances, instead of in the One who created me.

God never asked you to be anyone except the you He made you to be. God knew exactly what He was doing when He made you. You are fearfully & wonderfully made. You are made in His Image. You are the you He created you to be. He doesn’t make mistakes.

Throughout my story, I hope you see that we are all different in a beautiful way, and you realize that nobody can be you better than you. I want to be a friend who lets you in on all the good, bad, pretty, and ugly in hopes that you can find confidence in who God made you to be, just like I did.
