The familiar French tune has a setting of English words by Mark Blankenship titled "He is Born" in the current hymnal. The character of this piece is intense with interesting contrapuntal lines, soli sections for many groups in the band, and extensive use of percussion, including an important xylophone part. What a great way to spice up your holiday concert!
