No Doubt: Six Things We Can Know for Sure
Philosophers might raise the idea that we can’t be sure of anything. The Book of 1 John tells a different story. We can be absolutely sure of the things of God and the way He seeks to work in our lives.

Walking in Confidence
The plans we lay out for ourselves are often upended. The patriarch Abraham lived a life that seemed to continually be upended, and in each case, he had to choose whether or not he would trust God and walk by faith. This study encourages us to learn to trust God and walk by faith.

Irrefutable: Prophecies that Point Us to Jesus
When we read the Old Testament in light of what the New Testament reveals about Jesus, we discover that the events of His life did not just happen. The life and mission of the Messiah was planned long before Jesus was born. By looking the prophecies that point to His birth, we see irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.

How to Avoid Life’s Pitfalls
For too many people, a difficulty can turn into a major pitfall; they remain stuck and never move forward. We don’t need to face these challenges alone. In the Book of Genesis, Joseph’s example points the way to how we, too, can avoid life’s pitfalls. By relying on God, we can avoid letting many challenges become major pitfalls altogether.

DISCIPLESHIP PATHWAY

Discipleship is the lifestyle of walking with God. This walk tends to follow a pathway as followers become more like Christ and advance His kingdom.

Every pathway has signposts—markers to show a person’s progress. Lifeway Research has identified eight signposts of discipleship—lifestyle patterns that ought to be growing in ever-increasing measure the longer a person walks the pathway of discipleship.

YOU Bible study curriculum is designed so that each of the following categories (signposts) are addressed over the course of a year. This ensures a balanced approach to Bible study as group members advance to spiritual maturity.

  • Engage with Scripture
  • Obey God and Deny Self
  • Serve God and Others
  • Share Christ
  • Exercise Faith
  • Seek God
  • Build Relationships
  • Live Unashamed
