Breakout Sessions
Prayer is the most important responsibility in the life of a Christian woman and it is our lifeline to our Heavenly Father who desires to be in a close relationship with us. Let's walk together and take the negative stigma and dread out of prayer and learn to experience the joy of spending time with Jesus.
We live in unprecedented times and are facing insurmountable pressure. Uncertainty is all around us and mental health issues are rising at alarming rates in the church! In the midst of the pandemic there is an epidemic of mental health issues and it is affecting everyone.
This session will expose the lies and stigma that keep women in mental bondage. We will use God's Word as our guide to identify resources and tools that will help equip you to create an open and safe environment where women can be encouraged to break the silence and learn how to take off the masks they wear to hide the pain they are facing.
The issues surrounding race and unity in the church and culture are topics that must be discussed in a healthy Christ-like manner. These topics often evoke fear and uncertainty. God has called us to live in harmomny and in unity with one another and His Word has a lot to say about this topic. This session will allow a safe place to have honest biblical conversations about issues on racial unity.
Have you been called to lead women in your local church? Whether you are starting from scratch or in the process of rebuilding, this session will guide you through some basics in assessing your situation and moving forward. Learn principles from the book of Nehemiah and see how the why of ministering to women hasn't changed – the methods have.
If you create events, lead events, or you are curious about ways to make events more meaningful, this session will provide you with ways to incorporate creative elements that give women a chance to grow spiritually. You may not see yourself as a creative person, but everyone can learn how to design experiences that surprise and delight others.
How does developing healthy habits as a leader affect your culture and how you make an impact with the women you lead? Leaders must be healthy and develop both holy and healthy habits that help them accomplish God’s purpose for their lives and ministry. God calls us to live a life of self-control and discipline, in our heart, soul, mind, and strength.
According to Barna studies, almost a quarter of churchgoers are single. With this in mind, how can we better serve and equip a group who represents around a fourth of our congregations? In this breakout, we will discuss how to better partner and champion those walking through the joy of singleness. Our prayer is that we would leave with fresh perspective, creative ways to engage in fellowship, and discipleship tools for this unique community.
Being “second in command” doesn't mean you cannot lead with a lasting impact. In this breakout, we will discover how influence can be just as impactful as position. We will answer questions like, how are you leading in the title God has given you? Are you leading in a posture of resentment, frustration, or negativity? Or are you a source of godly strength and encouragment for those around you? By the end of this session, we pray you leave refreshed and eager to lead in the areas you have been entrusted with.
Have you ever taught a Bible Study or lesson that was met with glazed over looks? Maybe you feel like you're having a hard time helping your listeners retain and engage with the information. Using the eight learning styles, we will grasp how to effectively teach Scripture in practical ways people understand, remember, and enjoy!
Discipling the next generation doesn’t have to be complicated or intimidating. Let’s learn how God desires to use your story, your time, your gifts, and even your flaws to be an effective disciple-maker. Come discover why the next generation needs you and how you need them.
Idolatry isn’t confined to the Old Testament. Not only is it a struggle for us as leaders, but our teens battle it as well. In this session, we’ll discuss the idols teenagers are facing. We’ll discover how to help our teens identify their own idols and how to break free from them while living in the midst of culture.
