Speaker Bios

Blair Linne
Blair Linne is a Christian spoken word artist, actress, author, and Bible teacher. Blair is recognized as one of the originators of the Christian spoken word genre. At 13, she was one of the youngest contributors to the Anansi Writers Workshop at L.A.’s prestigious art forum, The World Stage. Since then, she has toured globally, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ through spoken word. Blair lives in Philadelphia with her husband Shai Linne and their three children Sage, Maya, and Ezra; she serves in discipling women at Risen Christ Fellowship, where her husband is one of the founding pastors.

J.T. English
J. T. English serves as a pastor, professor, and author. He is the author of Deep Discipleship: How the Local Church Can Make Whole Disciples, Remember and Rehearse: An Invitation to Participate in God’s Story, and You are a Theologian: An Invitation to Know and Love God Well, co-authored with Jen Wilkin. He is also a co-author of the Deep Discipleship Program. He is a a co-founder of Training the Church and a co-host of the Knowing Faith podcast. J. T. received his ThM in Historical Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and PhD in Systematic Theology from Southern Seminary.

Katie McCoy
Katie McCoy holds a PhD in Systematic Theology from Southwestern Seminary (TX), where she served on faculty for five years. Katie's research includes the patterns of justice for women in Old Testament laws as well as the intersection of theology, gender, and women's studies. She is the author of To Be a Woman: The Confusion Over Female Identity and How Christians Can Respond, as well as co-author of Humanity, part of the Theology for the People of God series. She is a political news junkie and frequent contributor to WORLD Radio’s "Culture Friday."

Kelly Minter
Kelly Minter is an author, speaker, songwriter, and singer. She is passionate about women discovering Jesus Christ through the pages of Scripture. Whether through song, study, or spoken word, Kelly desires to authentically express Christ to the women in a culture where so many are hurting and broken. She is driven to share the healing and strength of Christ through the Bible's truth.

Melissa Spoelstra
Melissa Spoelstra is a women’s conference speaker, Bible teacher, and author who is madly in love with Jesus. She is passionate about studying God’s Word and helping women of all ages to seek Christ and know Him more intimately through serious Bible study. Melissa has a degree in Bible theology, and she enjoys teaching God’s Word to the body of Christ, traveling to diverse groups and churches across the nation.
Melissa is the author of many books and Bible studies, including Angels, The Gospel of John, and Isaiah. She is a regular contributor to the Proverbs 31 First Five App, the Girlfriends in God online daily devotional, and many magazines and blogs. Melissa enjoys spending time with her pastor husband, Sean, and their four adult children: Zach, Abby, Sara, and Rachel.
