Avery T. Willis Jr.

Avery T. Willis Jr. served as a pastor in Oklahoma and Texas, a missionary to Indonesia, and the senior vice president of overseas operations at the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention until his retirement in 2004. The original MasterLife: Discipleship Training for Leaders, published in 1980, has been used by more than 250,000 people in the United States and has been translated into more than 50 different languages. Willis went to be with the Lord in 2010.
