In Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan, his lead character "Christian" is headed to "Land of Beulah" as his ultimate place of rest. In 1973, Squire Parsons wrote and recorded this song that's all about dreaming of heaven.

When we think of "gospel songs," sometimes it seems like they've all been around forever. The truth is. God is always giving us songs to sing to glorify Him. God is a God of creation, and He wants us to sing a new song to Him. (Psalm 33:3, Psalm 96:1, Psalm 98:1, Psalm 144:9, Psalm 149:1)

We need to share the good news of heaven with both new songs and old. Why? Because new people are all around us...children and students and young couples that need to hear the message that we keep so dear, that God loves us and wants us to live eternally with Him.
