Since 1990 World Changers has been serving student ministries across North America by providing week long missions projects in dozens of cities every year. World Changers national work projects began in the summer of 1990 in Briceville, Tennessee under the Memphis based Brotherhood Commission. Briceville hosted 137 students and adults one week in the World Changers pilot project. High school youth performed other construction jobs on nine homes in the area. Starting in 1997 World Changers began managing daily operations under the Southern Baptist Convention’s North American Mission Board. In 2011, World Changers partnered with LifeWay Student Ministries to create new ministry opportunities for an even wider audience.
Starting in 2018, World Changers is excited to begin including mission projects formerly known as P2 Missions and Infusion Missions under the World Changers banner. These missions experiences will be known as construction, church planting or urban projects and will continue to provide intentional training and immersive gospel-sharing opportunities.
