About this Item

Ready To Launch - Audio Session Bundle include all 7 individual sessions from the parenting Bible study by J.D. and Veronica Greear.

  • Session 1: Love is Not Enough. In this opening session J.D. reminds parents that love is simply not enough when it comes to raising your children. Parenting comes with a weighty responsibility attached to it and we rely on Scripture to teach us how to be the spiritual leaders of our kids. (12:47)
  • Session 2: Our Primary Responsibility. The primary responsibility of both the church and the home is to teach the next generation the gospel. The bad news is there is no perfect parent but the good news is that the Bible tells of a beautiful redemption for the family. (16:03)
  • Session 3: God's Two Gardens. God intends the church to be a "second" family. We must prioritize the development of relationships in the church just as we do in our homes. (12:58)
  • Session 4: Preparing Our Children For God's Mission. Our children, the next generation, are like arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior, which we launch out into the battle that God has set before them. Gospel-centered parenting isn't defined by a list of dos and don'ts. It is about capturing our children's heart for the mission of God. (18:33)
  • Session 5: Discipline- Fight For the Heart. When it comes to discipline, the world is primarily focused on coercing behavior, whereas the gospel focuses on changing the heart. This session teaches parents how to combat the three D's in discipline: dishonesty, disrespect, and disobedience. (16:32)
  • Session 6: Discipline- Fight For Your Kids, Not With Your Kids. We must never discipline our children out of personal vengeance, but out of love because we want them to become everything God has planned for them to be. This session provides practical suggestions for discipline. (15:53)
  • Session 7: God Knows You Need His Help. We are going to miss the mark as parents. The grace of God is sufficient for our shortcomings and failures. This session reminds us to place our hope not in our abilities as parents, but in the grade of God. (13:16)
