You Lead Leadership Training

Have you been called to lead women in your local church? Whether you are starting from scratch or in the process of rebuilding, this session will guide you through some basics in assessing your situation and moving forward. Learn principles from the book of Nehemiah and see how the why of ministering to women hasn't changed – the methods have. 

Lifeway Research surveyed 1,000 pastors in the past year and discovered that out of 44 needs, the top challenge was developing leaders and volunteers. If this is true of the entire church, then women's ministry leaders are facing the same difficulty. This session will focus on theological and practical ways to recruit, retain, and celebrate those who are serving the body of Christ.

Physical formation is seen in the body, but spiritual formation is the inner transformation of becoming more like Christ in order to serve others. In this session, you'll learn both the theological elements of spiritual formation as well as the process elements that shape who we are and who we are becoming in Christ. It is a life-long process that involves spiritual disciplines and the work of the Holy Spirit who transforms and conforms us to be more like Jesus each day.

You are a passionate and devoted leader; how do you balance marriage and ministry? Are you feeling that you are not giving enough to ministry or marriage? In this session, we will explore creative ways to maintain your marriage while succeeding in leadership. 

You know that you should forgive but how do you forgive when you have been hurt, rejected, disappointed, or mistreated? In this breakout session, we will discuss what it means to forgive, the benefits of forgiving and provide keys to walking in forgiveness. 

Is God's Word a priority for you? We make time for everything else but what about God's Word? In this session, we will discuss the significance of God's Word and Why it matters. 

If you are looking to begin or breathe new life into your women’s ministry, this workshop is for you! Loaded with practical tips to help you build a culture of genuine connectedness, transparency, spiritual depth, encouragement, missional focus and fun. We’ll tackle some of your toughest challenges and how to inspire women to use their gifts to invest in others. 

What is the difference between discipleship and mentoring? How can you best prepare yourself to do either well? Let’s throw out our preconceived ideas of who we need to be and what we need to do to best help other women grow spiritually. Vickey brings 40 years of discipling and mentoring experience to this session and is eager to share an exciting variety of encouragement, structured and unstructured methods, and practical resources. Let’s fish for women and equip them to do so too! 

Do you ever have trouble connecting the dots between God's Word and your everyday life? Learn a highly practical and easily personable tool for applying God's Word whether you are hearing, reading, studying or memorizing it. This workshop is highly interactive, so you will actually practice using it in class. This tool is a gift to your personal relationship with God and to helping others grow in theirs.
