Mentoring: Relationships that Flourish - Kelly King
With the voices of culture around us, the need to be rooted in Christ is crucial. But what does that look like? One of the best ways to learn this is to connect with a more mature believer in a mentoring relationship. We’ll discuss how to initiate the relationship, tools to use within the relationship, and how to replicate the relationship in others. We’ll also use the new mentoring resource from LifeWay called Flourish to provide a framework. This session is both for the woman who wants to be a mentor and the woman who wants to be mentored. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about pointing her to the One who is.
TEAM Works - Kelly King

Learn what your team needs from you as well as how to develop future leaders.

Leading Your Self Well: The Priority of Our C.A.R.E. - Marshelle Wilburn
A major component of leadership is guiding and caring for others. Airplane safety instructions require passengers to put their own oxygen mask on first before assisting others. This principle correlates to what is critical for effective and consistent leadership. Leaders are often passionate about ensuring the care of those they lead, while sacrificially negligent of caring for self. In this session we will explore some important components of Self-C.A.R.E. with the objectives of personal assessment for areas of self-negligence, identifying ways to improve self-care, and setting goals to maintain a vibrant leadership. Learn how to lead yourself well in order to lead others well.
Guide to Navigating the Rainbow: Charting the Watersof Queer Culture - Marshelle Wilburn
Today’s culture is extremely different than just a decade ago. We find ourselves amidst redefinitions of gender, sex, marriage and family. Regrettably the church has found itself decades behind our changing world and often ill-equipped to have a viable understanding and response to changing times. As leaders seeking to provide a gospel- centered response to a world seeking truth and love, we must ensure that we are equipped with current contextual information and biblical truths that don’t change. In this session, we’ll tackle a very challenging topic with wisdom, grace, and the hope of developing a Christ-compelled compassion through a gospel- focused lens for the Queer Culture.
