On the Edge

This study will take youth on an expedition that will help them develop the courage it takes to follow Jesus in an uncertain world.

Excursion 1: Courage to Know God

Focal Passages: 1 Kings 18:1-2,20-24,30-37

Life Question: How can I know that there is only one true God?

Biblical Truth: We can have the courage to know and help others know the Lord is God.

Excursion 2: Courage to Trust God

Focal Passages: Esther 2:1-2,5-11; 3:1-2,5-6,13; 4:5-17; 5:1-8; 7:1-6a,10; 8:3-17

Life Question: How can I take a stand for God when I face adversity?

Biblical Truth: We can have the courage to depend on God no matter what happens.

Excursion 3: Courage to Believe in Jesus

Focal Passages: John 3:1-6,16-18; 7:50-52; 19:38-42

Life Question: What should I do once I understand the truth about Jesus?

Biblical Truth: We can have the courage to believe in Jesus Christ, accepting Him as Savior and Lord.

Excursion 4: Courage to Follow Jesus

Focal Passage: Acts 9:1-22

Life Question: If I choose to follow Jesus, what will I need to change in my life?

Biblical Truth: We can have the courage to follow Jesus and live according to God's plan for our lives.

Excursion 5: Courage to Talk About Jesus

Life Question: How can I tell others about my faith in Jesus?
