Our group had a lot of fun with this study - it really helped us be able to communicate Biblical viewpoints on the subject of guy/girl relationships.

Payne attempts to give an overview of Dating and Courting. He does not accomplish this as well as he accomplishes giving a solid argument for courting versus dating. Payne never states that either one is obligatory according to Scripture and leaves it that each are permissible. Though never stating that dating is not permissible according to scripture, Payne paints the picture that courting is more biblical. I would highly recommend this as a resource to any youth leader and a definite read for any parent who wants to understand why dating may not be the best option for their child-- though commonly perceived to be the only option. It is very short, and leaves out a lot of details, but serves as a great starting place for seeing an alternative to the modern western practice we call dating.
