I love everything about this study. It has been a beautiful journey with the Lord. Thanks Priscilla, because this study was simple but yet very fullfilling. It has taking me through a journey of listening to God, and knowing that He really wants to talk to me.

THis study was my first from Mrs. Shirer, but I am very excited to do another. I just finished it with my church group and will be re-taking it with a smaller intimate group of close friends. I think her simplistic ways of showing us how much God DESIRES to speak to me really came through in her teachings and really have changed the way I go through my day. EXCELLENT BOOK STUDY!

Priscilla Shirer has tackled one of the most important topics in our Christian
walk. In any relationship, we must communicate with the one we love and it
must be a two-way street! Of course God would speak with us! Priscilla
presents powerful truths and teaches women to get to know the Lord so that
we can recognize His voice in our lives. Very solid teaching that we were
thankful to receive. God bless you for your obedience! We loved this study--
both the morning and the evening groups were blessed!

Some of the ways the discussion questions were posed were a little confusing in the begninning. However, the overall lessons that I learned were a definite blessing in my life.At the time, I was in the middle of a messy seperation from my husband and so there were a lot of things on my plate. Each week the lessons were so pertinent to exactly what I was going/growing through. It helped me learn how to listen to my Father in Heaven and not my own heart and things that had to be done were so much easier to handle...as opposed to me trying to make all the decisions on my own. I had so much peace in that storm it was crazy! Thank you Sister Shirer for providing a tool for me to listen to HIM better! (p.s. I plan on leading a bible study group using this..if it is in HIS will)

This is the first bible study I have ever attended, so I really didn't know what to expect. Priscilla definitely is very knowledgeable and keeps your interest. I learned a lot in this bible study. I am looking forward to more in the future.

I'm greatly disappointed in the underlying current of contemplative prayer that Ms. Shirer seems to be advocating. Many of the authors she quotes in the study are advocates of contemplative prayer, which is not biblical. It appears many in the christian church are accepting this type of prayer as christian when it is Buddhism/Hinduism. I found the study disturbing.

Encourages the reading of Scripture as a means of growing in grace but is flawed in instruction/inference and general application of how God works through His word and overall presentation and pursuit of Biblical discernment. There is no such thing as new revelation. Some people will speak on their own authority, devoid or hybridizing the true message of Scripture. The Holy Spirit does not inspire messages like that. We are to test these teachings and it's teachers. Personal conclusion: Christian women are much better off rejecting "freestyle spirituality" rather than be found rejecting God's Word and the Gospel message.

This study is my first with Priscilla Shirer, but it won''t be my last. My women''s group is finishing this study, and we are considering another Priscilla Shirer study after this one. Priscilla is an excellent minister--very gifted! This study is very practical--it has taught me some new perspective on God''s word. Weekly individual study lessons are manageable, and each DVD session is insightful.
