The DVD supports each session with video footage of IMB missionaries in various locations around the world.

The CD-ROM includes a Facilitator Guide for the seven group sessions, plus eight supplemental learning modules. The supplemental modules cover topics such as prayer-walking, church planting, and understanding a culture’s worldview.

My wife and I are serving in the Northern Africa Middle East Affinity Group of the IMB. We have seen mission teams come to the field with little to no training, and we have seen teams come to the field who were prepared, the difference is amazing. We are recommending this curriculum to every group who comes to visit our people group. People who go through this course are more prepared for their trip and less shocked by what they find when they get here. We have adapted an orientation packet for people visiting our people group to supplement this course so as you go through this six-week study you are learning about the culture and people they will be serving. We are so appreciative of Phyllis, Jerry, and all who contributed to this curriculum.
