I've worked with teens for nearly two decades. As a speaker and author and in ministry to teens, I am always looking for great resources. This DVD is eight weeks of lessons. It's relatable. It's fresh. It's biblical. The leadership guide is a good tool, and girls will love the magazine-type His Girl that has great headlines and material such as "Breaking the Mold: How You Can Stand Out". As someone who once taught teens in a discipleship environment (and as someone who continues to speak and write for teens) I'm always on the lookout for great material for teens. This is good stuff.

We decided to do this study after hearing Vicki speak at an event in Houston. The girls loved that the workbook looked like a magazine but the biggest advantage was that it got them talking. They also loved the DVD and how it tied into the topic each week. I think the person who complained about the cost might not understand that the purpose of most DVD studies is to be done by churches or groups and I imagine it was pretty costly to put together. We thought it was a good deal after paying over $100 for beth moore dvd studies! Our church also did Vicki's Your Girl study for moms and loved it because it covered the same topics our daughters were going over. I hope we'll see more studies like this in the future!

The dvd "pack" should really not be categorized as such. It costs $62.95 and consists of the book (which lists for $11.95) the leader's guide (which lists for $8.95) and ONE dvd (not sold separately). On top of that you pay $11.00 for shipping and handling when the cost to mail is actually $4.85. It is misleading to call this a dvd "pack" when there is only one dvd and the items are priced separately much cheaper. One dvd should not cost $40. very disappointing!
