Every thing is perfect,from what I read about the MINISTER BIBLE.To learn about mairrage,countseling,and help you to understand what GOD is doing in these last days are truly a blessing,why because if you under stand GOD's word then you can bless some else and so on. This is a wonderful choice for pastors who are looking for a modern text to base their ministry on. Most bibles geared toward pastors are KJV (with one exception, Zondervan's NIV). The HCSB is accurate yet up to date with changes in the English language. The pastoral helps are exceptional, exactly what pastors need. I am blessed that the CWT model was used as the gospel presentation, which is still the best presentation of the gospel. Thankyou B&H and Lifeway. You all hit a homerun with this one.

I like this Bible because 1) HCSB is one of the best, if not the best modern translations; 2) this edition is single-columned, this makes it a lot more readable; 3) it is NOT red-lettered. "All scripture is God-breathed ..." We have no right to make some portions of the scripture look more important than others. 4) it has somewhat wide margin for note-writing.

I love this single column, black text edition. How I wish all translations were available in an edition such as this! An absolute joy for reading with no distracting cross references, red letter print or painfully thin double columns.

Single column and no cross reference is great. Double bookmark is really handy as well and the concave cut pages make thumbing through smooth. The leather cover is also very goodlooking and holding the book in your hand gives the feeling that it was made for it, not cumbersome like some Bibles can be. If they asked me there is one tiny thing I would change and that would be to make the "bullet mark" in the body of the text a little less unsightly, maybe a little lighter on the bold print or even turn it into an asterist, I find it a tad distracting because it looks like a huge period right in the middle of a beautifully layed out paragraph of text. But this is a minute negative that I will most likly get used to fairly quickly. All in all, I love the Bible and have purchased 2 other thinlines. You can not go wrong with this one.

There is nothing I dislike about the HCSB. It is very readable which adds to a better understanding of the text. With all the different translations, I feel as a Southern Baptist very confortable with the HCSB and feel it is a true representation of the original texts. I presently own four copies. I use the HCSB for all preaching and teaching. I also make extensive use of Bible Navigator in all my sermon preparations. Several in my church have gone out and purchased their own. Their main comments have been, "Its so easy to read and understand."

This Bible is accurate, easy to read with its best feature as the single column wide margin, which is perfect for reading and even display. They type is large, (I am guessing 10 point type. The font is the most easy to read. The translation is good and the vocabulary is professional, and yet international readers are not confused. With a quality leather cover, it is to be a treasured copy for many, I believe.

The HCSB is an excellent translation. For someone who is well-acquainted with NT Greek, I find the CSB to be a faithful translation of the original text.
My only drawback is the thinness of the pages in this Bible. I love the fact that its black-lettered all the way through.

I was happy to see a black letter version Bible again. Red letter has no place in a study Bible, especially when you color code one. The ministers manual is very capable too. A great addition to anyones library or as a primary Bible.

The Minister's version of the HCSB is a high-quality Bible that is wonderful for preaching. The larger font and the single column format makes it easy to read large portions of Scripture. It also make it easy to find your place when looking from the Bible to the audience, and back again. The wide margins are a nice touch, making it easy to write in your own personal notes and cross-references. The biggest downfall to this bible is that the pages are thin, making them curl a bit as notes are added. Overall, though, this is an excellent presentation of this exceptional translation.

I think the HCSB Minister's bible will be a wonderful addition to any pastor's library. I can say nothing negative about the Bible other than I would've liked to see a red letter edition. It helps when your eyes start getting a little age on them. Great Bible for today's pastor or minister.
