This bible is very readable. The meditations makes the readings personal and helps me look at myself for spiritual growth. I have recommended this bible to all my church members. In our church we have distributed over 150 copies.

This is a great gift or for personal use. I really like having both a daily reading Bible AND a daily devotional in one book. I'm still getting used to the HCSB translation, but it's growing on me. Selwyn Hughes' devotionals are usually good, but a few of them (in scanning) don't always seem to be directly related to the verse quoted. I just got it, so I haven't read a lot, but we'll be using it for our daily Bible reading in 2005.
