Maggie (Ali Faulkner) is an 18 year girl who leaves her adopted Christian home after her father's tragic death. Trying to fill a void in her life, Maggie feels compelled to locate her birth mother. What she finds is not what she had hoped. Maggie finds a woman who does not love or want her. Sadly, Maggie gets caught up in the world in which her birth mother is living. After a few months, she reaches her breaking point. In a rage, she releases her frustrations by destroying the seedy hotel room that has become her home. A Bible falls at her feet and it is then that she realizes that there is only one thing that can break the bondage in which she is living, Jesus Christ. She is brought back to God's word and realizes that He has a better plan for her life. Finding courage, she runs away from the nightmare she has been living. With the faith of a mustard seed and no place to go, Maggie finds herself living on the streets alone, broke and scared.
Maggie is taken in by a group of unconventional characters that God places in her life to help make her passage a reality. With their help, she learns the timeless lessons of faith, love and forgiveness. Grace (Sheran Keyton) finds Maggie and gives her shelter and wisdom. Max (Mike Norris), a broken man himself, becomes her father figure. Together Max and Grace take Maggie under their wings to get her back where she belongs, home to a loving mother (Janine Turner) who has been praying for her safe return.
In the end, Maggie finally realizes that as an adopted child, she was chosen and the love of an adoptive mother is a love that is second only to the love Christ has for his children.

It is sad but so many Christian movies are so in your face and corny. Maggie's
Passage gets the message out there with interest and joy.
I went to the website and you can hear the sound track. amazing also.

Everyone needs a Grace in their life! My grand daughter is not adopted but had
some struggles in her teen years. She is very happy now with a wonderful family
of her own. I wish she could have seen this movie during her time of struggle.
God Bless You.

This movie gave me goosebumps. The story of redemption and forgiveness is woven throughout the lives of many different characters. It makes the movie more relatable to my life. It's a strongly encouraging movie that should remind us of God's love for us and His plans for good in our lives. We need more like this!

I was given this movie to help one of my adopted patients.
I lost my wife 5 years ago this month. This movie is being promoted in the adoption arena. It is equally a hopeful message on grieving.
Thank you for reminding me that I can go on.

What an amazing story. This movie shows no matter how lost we are, no matter
where we try and hide, God is with us and ready with open arms to welcome us
home. He sends us exactly what and who we need to help us find our passage
home. This is a must see and share with those around you. This movie will touch
so many lives and be the tool God uses to help people find their way to the path

7/12/2010 10:21:12 PM: Terrible...no understanding of adoptee issues
I saw this film and was extremely dissapointed on how the issue of adoption was handled. Instead of exploring the aspects of loss and grief, it was "be grateful someone picked you" approach. The issues adoptees face are not so cut and dry, and all birth mothers are not troubled and not all adoptive mothers are perfect parents.
