I am leading this study at my church and even though we have only done the introduction session I can tell it will be a great study. I have viewed each of the video segments and they are longer than the description on the box...anywhere from 20-32 minutes.
As I watched each of the women in class as they were watching the video, I could see what a deeply felt need this study was meeting. The fact that more women have signed up for this study than any other study I have ever led shows that the way we talk to ourselves is a real issue and that the women want to speak truth to their souls.
Hooray for Jennifer Rothschild, who once again, has allowed Jesus Christ to move in her and through her as she passes that wisdom on to others.

Our women's ministry team did this as a group last summer and it was life changing for most if not all of us. So much so that we based our spring retreat this year around it. Many women were set free from lies they had been believing. We are now beginning 2 studies within our church...a morning one and an evening one. And I suspect it will be offered more than once. I would recommend this study to everyone, even if you don't think you are believing lies. You might be surprised!

It might be helpful to know the video sessions are very short--like 15
minutes or less! The longest one is the first week (introduction) and it''''''''s 32
minutes. There are two promotion segments (0:33 & 1:23)

I was a little shocked at the price for this short of lessons (five of them are
just 10-14 minutes). I have not viewed them yet, but hopefully they are
meaty. Short segments may be perfect for what some of you need (like a
lunchtime Bible study). I''''''''ve done another one of Jennifer''''''''s studies and it was
very good! I have not done the workbook yet, but it looks like it will be good
information.

Thanks for the review. There is actually a printing error on the DVDs. The printed time lengths are off from the actual video time lengths. The shortest length video is actual 21 minutes in length and the longest is about 34 minutes. We hope to have corrected DVDs available soon.

If you are interested in purchasing the book and doing this study on your own, please know that the listening guide comes in Audio only, as Lifeway does not provide you with the Video link. Personally, I prefer to see the person talking, not just hear a voice from my speakers. Beth Moore studies are done with Video, so I don't understand why Lifeway didn't allow Jennifer to do the same. I am disappointed in my purchase because of this.
