Reader 1: The cross is eternal.
Reader 2: The blood,
Reader 3: Immortal.
Reader 2: The price,
Reader 3: Immeasurable.
Reader 1: When we were lost,
Reader 2: Hopeless
Reader 3: And separated,
Reader 1: Christ embraced the cup.
All: “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured
out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”
Reader 1: Even Judas knew the state of the blood of Jesus.
Reader 2: “I have sinned,” he said, “for
I have betrayed innocent blood.”
Reader 3: Pilate tried to distance himself from the blood
of Jesus.
Reader 2: “I am innocent of this man’s blood,”
he said. “It is your responsibility!”
Reader 1: But to us, His bride, there is power in the blood.
All: “Since we have now been justified by his blood,
how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through
him!”
Reader 1: We find hope,
Reader 2: And wealth,
Reader 3: And victory.
Reader 2: Second chances,
Reader 3: And new beginnings.
All: “In Him we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of
God’s grace.”
Reader 1: No greater sacrifices have ever been realized.
All: “He did not enter by means of the blood of goats
and calves; but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all

All: Having obtained eternal redemption.”
Reader 1: He laid the wealth of a thousand worlds at our
feet and said, “Come.”
Reader 3: Glory to You, Jesus!
Reader 2: Honor to You!
All: “You were slain, and with your blood you purchased
men for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation.”
Reader 1: And so we gather at Your table.
Reader 3: We celebrate the covenant.
Reader 2: We revel in your grace.
Reader 1: Oh precious is the flow.
Reader 2: The blood
Reader 3: The body
