Linda Anderson and Mom to Mom Ministries

Linda Schultz Anderson relates intuitively to the needs of today's women. A strong biblical and literary background, energetic teaching style, and personal warmth and humor permeate her speaking and infuse her listeners with encouragement, hope, and inspiration.

Linda founded Mom to Mom Ministries in 1991 and served for twelve years as the teaching leader of Grace Chapel’s Mom to Mom program in Lexington, Massachusetts. She is a teacher and reading specialist by profession (B.A. in Literature, Wheaton College; M.A. in Education, University of Texas at San Antonio).

Linda is the enthusiastic wife of a Milwaukee oncologist and daughter of Old Testament scholar Samuel J. Schultz. Mother to three young adults and grandmother to two, Linda has a special interest in topics related to marriage and family and understands the challenges of raising godly children. In addition, she has been a life-long student and teacher of the Bible, and a popular retreat and seminar speaker.

Mom to Mom Ministries
Mom to Mom is for any mother who may feel isolated, intimidated by information overload, or insignificant in her role as a parent.

This biblically-based parenting program is designed around the Titus 2:4 concept of older women teaching and encouraging younger women in their relationship with their husbands and children.

This ongoing ministry serves a dual purpose:

(1) A place of nurture for committed Christian women.
(2) A bridge into the Christian faith and involvement in a local church.

Ideally, your leaders will begin with the first release, Heart Talk, followed by the Growing Together and Inside Out Parenting. Encourage women to join a Mom to Mom group with whichever curriculum you are currently offering.

Inside Out Parenting: A Mom's Mission
Inside Out Parenting examines what God's Word says about our mission as moms—and what that looks likes today. As moms explore God's Word, they will gain godly confidence in a confused world, create a Christian community that thrives despite a chaotic culture, and build Christ-like character in their kids. Helps moms in your church connect with moms in your community through 16 sessions of multimedia resources.

Growing Together: Growing a Child=Growing a Mom
Challenges moms at all ages and stages to grow deeper even as they help their children grow. Includes 16 teaching sessions, plus an introduction, on four DVDs. Topics include “When You’re Running on Empty,” “Three Gifts I’d like to Give Every Mom,” “Taming the Top 10 Marriage Monsters,” “ Who’s the Parent Here?,” and “Everyday Crossroads: Choices and Consequences for Parents and Children, ” plus an introduction.

Heart Talk
Moms of all ages will find help in parenting skills, hope in the powerful God who gave them their children, and heart-to-heart encouragement from one mom to another. Topics include “How to Be a Mother and a Person Too,” “Fences and Flexibility: Setting Limits with Love,” and “What Messages are Our Kids Getting?,” 12 Sessions on three DVDs, with bonus content.

Administrative Guide
Through small-group interaction, led by Titus 2 women, growth occurs not only in parenting skills, but also in wholeness as women--intellectually, relationally, and spiritually. A Mom to Mom group is both a place of nurture for committed Christian women and a safe place to bring friends, often serving as a bridge into the Christian faith and involvement in a local church for many.
