This video is one of seven individual and downloadable sessions from Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent by Beth Moore. In this first session Beth introduces the 15 Psalms of Ascent and the three prominent roles the Psalms of Ascent played in the ancient pilgrim festivals.
Three times a year, the ancient Israelites traveled to the temple in Jerusalem. Now it’s your turn. Stepping Up explores Psalms 120-134. Traveling pilgrims sang these psalms both on the way to the great festivals of Israel and as key elements of the worship at those festivals. Students will gain a new appreciation for the life of faith as a journey to greater fellowship with and worship of God.
Now you don’t have to miss any of the sessions of this Bible study helping you enter into a new level of relationship and intimacy with God through these psalms. Listen to any one or more of these segments at times you can’t be at the group sessions.
