Michael Zigarelli’s first study, Freedom from Busyness: Biblical Help for Overloaded People, hits such a nerve with readers because it addresses our hectic lifestyle and how it affects our health, families, and most importantly, our relationship with God. Study participants learn to cut themselves loose from so many of the ties that bind.
In his new study, Influencing Like Jesus: 15 Biblical Principles of Persuasion, Zigarelli guides readers to take lessons from the Master, arguably history’s most influential person.
New! Influencing Like Jesus
When it came to influencing people, Jesus was neither demanding nor manipulative. Yet throughout His life and ministry He effected positive change. This small-group study shows you how to adopt Jesus’ powerful methods of persuasion as you build relationships and respect, find compelling evidence to support your position, and more.

Michael Zigarelli, Professor of Busyness." This inadvertent misspelling of Mike Zigarelli's title in a publication (it was supposed to read "Professor of Business") caused him to chuckle. But then, realizing the typo was as accurate as his business card, Zigarelli went on a personal quest to find out what the Bible says about busyness, overload and how God wants us to spend our time. His study of Scripture led him to write some magazine articles on the topic and eventually this small group study.
Zigarelli, is associate professor of management at Charleston Southern University, former dean of the Regent University School of Business, and writes extensively about management, law, and ethics. He has authored seven books dealing with workplace-related issues and is the founding editor of the online publication Regent Business Review, and the creator of Christianity9to5.org and Assess-Yourself.org. Zigarelli lives in South Carolina with his wife Tara and their four children.
