3D Sunday School Resources

The 3D Sunday School: A Three Dimensional Strategy to Help Members and Leaders Fulfill the Great Commission is a Sunday School training emphasis devised by LifeWay's Sunday School director, David Francis. This strategy is an effort to bring renewed focus and purpose to Bble study classes and groups as they partner with God to bring people to Himself.

A 3D Sunday School helps Christians in the local church do three things:

• Invite: make Sunday School classes inviting to newcomers, seekers, and guests.
• Discover: transform Sunday School classes into dynamic Bible study experiences through Scripture, stories, and shepherding.
• Connect: help members and prospects assimilate with others in the Sunday School class through ministry and service. (The "Connect" booklet will be published in 2009.)

	About the author: David Francis is the director of Sunday school in LifeWay's church resources division. Prior to coming to LifeWay, Francis served as the associate pastor and minister of education for First Baptist Church, Garland, Texas, a position he held for 13 years. Francis and his wife, Vicki, teach pre-K Sunday school at Long Hollow Baptist Church, Nashville, Tenn. They have three sons and four grandchildren.
