“And your cry of love rings out across the lands”.  When we hear the refrain in our theme song, it reflects directly on the love that our Lord has…for you…for me…and for all who live across the lands.

In 2010, LifeWay will again offer unique mission opportunities to her employees to take the love of the Father across the lands.  Our trips offer us excellent opportunities to live our vision statement.

As LifeWay’s president and CEO, let me encourage you to pray about your involvement in one of LifeWay’s mission trips. If you sense His leadership to step out in obedience, don’t hesitate. Take that step – fill out and submit the application.

2010 Mission Trip Locations and Dates

South Asia   |   February 18 – March 2, 2010   |   $2,900
This team will be working in rugged terrain at altitudes of 8,000 ft. above sea level, so team members must be in good physical shape. Some will be working in a town at a lower elevation. The walking will still be extensive, but not as much up and down.  

We will be working with national believers to reach the un-reached! The team will do daily personal evangelism door to door and by preset appointments with people the nationals have developed relationships with .The team will also participate in evangelistic services Sunday mornings.

Newfoundland   |   July 31-August 9, 2010   |   $2,100
The main goal of the LifeWay mission trip would be to faithfully proclaim Christ. There are numerous ways to accomplish this. Block parties would be of great benefit to make an impact for the Lord, as well as individual one-on-one evangelism.  

Discipleship is a core element of evangelism. As a result, the LifeWay team will be able to help implement various forms of discipleship/counseling while in Newfoundland.

Sturgis, SD   |   August 7-15, 2010   |   $700
Imagine being in a place where people come to you to hear about Christ! For a week, the LifeWay team will partner with the Dakota Baptist Convention and others to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the 300,000+ motorcycle riders who descend on the beautiful town of Sturgis every August. It is intense, hard work and very rewarding!

East Asia   |   September 18-October 1, 2010  |   $2,800
Team members will be involved in direct, one-on-one evangelism with students and other university personnel. Contacts will be established on campuses and in places where students gather. We will be involved in university level campus-based classroom lectures that can lead to one-on-one opportunities. Team members with musical abilities are welcome and will have opportunities to share their talents. 

Developing relationships is key to being able to share Christ. Team members will spend most of their meals and other free time with small groups of students. The weekend will be reserved for special outings and more causal events with students. Don’t worry, an on-site orientation is conducted upon arrival.

Peru   |   October 2-13, 2010   |   $2,100
The LifeWay team will work in conjunction with a REAPartner team: Gladeville Baptist Church in Nashville. The direct evangelism methodology and process will be determined by the REAPartner team and will support the Master’s plan for the people group focus.

Translators will be provided during the trip. People respond when they hear the Good News in their heart language.

Rwanda   |   October 4-17, 2010   |   $3,900
If being a part of seeing hundreds pray to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior excites you, Rwanda may be your team. Team members will again partner with translators and travel from village to village telling the story of Jesus. This will be a true international team, as we partner with Kenyans and Rwandans to share our Lord’s good news of forgiveness, grace and love with a people who have been wracked by civil war. They are ready!  Are you?

Germany  |   October 23 - November 1, 2010  |   $1,700
This LifeWay team will be involved in many evangelistic activities in order to share the good news of Jesus Christ in Bonn, Germany.

• We will be prayer walking in the mornings, with evangelism tracts, ready to respond as the Holy Spirit leads.
• Bible distribution points with balloon sculpting and face painting.
• The team may also be involved in training others to effectively use the EvangeCube and Share Jesus Without Fear with the understanding that they would also join in sharing Christ.
• There will be a week-end city-wide fair that will present additional opportunitirs.

We certainly want the Holy Spirit to work and people to feel free to witness as opportunities arise!
