LifeWay Consulting is committed to personal service and customized plans. In order to accomplish this, we have established a basic process model that demonstrates the stages of assistance. This is not a formula or homogenized approach; rather, this model is a guide to help churches develop a basic understanding of what to expect as we work together to help them meet needs and accomplish goals.

The chart below demonstrates the order of steps:

The Difference Between Process and Formula

To help you determine the best course of action to take regarding the issues currently facing your church, we've detailed each step and highlighted their purposes below. This is not intended as a formula or "one size fits all" approach; rather, these are steps to guide churches from a starting point to a finish.

LifeWay Consulting is committed to customize each church's plan of action, tailored to their specific needs. As always, feel free to contact us with any questions.

Step 1: Clear, Current Reality
The first objective in our process is to establish a baseline understanding of your church's current health. This brings everyone to common ground—the foundation for building unity and moving forward. This baseline knowledge facilitates future processes that will generate ideas, develop goals, determine objectives, and define implementation.

Step 2: Dialogue & Discovery
This element in our model applies comprehensive assessment tools used to define the church health baseline and potential strategic direction. Each module provides thorough analysis and evaluation that form the basis for highly accurate consultant observations. As we develop and share these findings with your leadership team, we move together toward recommendations and initiatives.

Step 3: Development of Strategic Initiatives
The collaborative planning process is where it all comes together. Our consultatns will facilitate a process of reviewing all that has been learned. Observations will be combined and distilled. Recommendations and key initiatives will be created and consolidated. The result will be a definitive plan that specifies next steps.

Step 4: Church Implementation
We offer guidance and support as you generate s growing enthusiasm and secure leadership and wide involvement for your strategy. You will receive a comprehensive guidebook for the leadership team and a summary guidebook for the church.

Step 5: The Compelling Future
Our consultants are available to encourage and assist as you communicate the compelling and achievable future and begin to discover what God has in store.

Step 6: Next Challenges
We remain ministry partners as your journey continues. We will stay in touch and continue our relationship. As you share new challenges that arise, we'll continue to provide relevant insights from our ongoing research and church consulting experiences.
