After serving as Pastor or Associate Pastor of churches in Tennessee and Kentucky John has served in the field of stewardship ministry for 8 years. He also served in private counseling and as an adjunct seminary professor in staff leadership. He has worked with churches in strategic planning, visioning, conflict management and stewardship. John is the co-author of Beyond Measure, LifeWay’s newest Capital Stewardship guide.

Sam Warner, Senior Consultant

After receiving a Business Administration degree and settling into a successful insurance agency for several years, Sam felt the call on his life for something more. Serving for over a decade in his local church as a leader allows him to understand and relate well to the lay people in the campaign process. Sam looks at this ministry as a gift from God and a way that he can grow God’s Kingdom. He finds joy in the fact that his job allows him to watch the Lord at work.

Emerson Porter, Senior Consultant

With more than 25 years serving in growing churches through a variety of ministries including music, worship, education, pastoral and administration, and 10 years leading capital stewardship campaigns across the country, experience and success are the main strengths Emerson brings to each campaign opportunity. His gifts of organization, leadership and encouragement serve his churches well.

Jerry Massey, Senior Consultant

Jerry Massey served as senior pastor of various size churches in Tennessee and Mississippi. During his pastorates his churches conducted four major building and remodeling campaigns. His experience gives him a high respect and keen awareness of the make-up and growth issues of today's local church. Having experienced both sides of a Capital Stewardship campaign, as a pastor and as a consultant, his approach to capital stewardship is presented with sensitivity and understanding.

Bill George, Senior Consultant

After serving as Senior Pastor and a Director of Missions, Bill served as a church consultant in missions, church planting and growth strategy for the Michigan and Tennessee Baptist Conventions. He brings a rich heritage to LifeWay as a consultant and follow-up strategist for Capital Stewardship. Bill’s experiences in each of these allow him to assist churches and blend the capital campaign process into the total picture of the church.
 

Wayne Foropoulos, Senior Consultant

Serving in pastoral ministries for over 25 years has made Wayne keenly aware of the needs of churches seeking to minister effectively where God has planted and is growing them. Wayne has led ministries in growing churches with multiple building campaigns. He also has a secular background in financial services which enables him to relate to both the financial needs of the church and individuals.
