One only needs a moment to step inside one of the many guest rooms at Glorieta to notice something is missing. There are no televisions. While most hotels in America carefully arrange their in-room furniture to center guest’s attention towards the TV screen, Glorieta understands its guests are here for something more meaningful than the latest blockbuster movie. Glorieta’s accommodations are here to support it’s overall mission – pointing guests toward a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, and fellowship with His children.
The campus provides a wide variety of lodging choices, from deluxe rooms to youth dormitories to RV/camping sites. Most hotels have ample lobby space or cozy outdoor seating for groups to enjoy fellowship. All rooms have telephones, with voice-mail messaging systems to keep guests close in communication with home and the office.
Chaparral Inn and Hall of States offer guests deluxe accommodations with spacious rooms and inviting lobby space. Other lodging venues include Texas Main, and Texas Annexes A and B as well as Oklahoma. For group meetings, Groups attending conferences or planned meetings will enjoy the convenient tram (with prior arrangements) that offers quick service from lodging locations to select meeting space, dining hall or other prearranged destinations.
Newly remodeled facilities are also available for youth groups, providing air-conditioned facilities with beautifully crafted solid oak bunk beds. For guests who enjoy taking their own homes on the road, Glorieta also provides RV and camper sites complete with electric and water hookups.
