When you connect to our Web site, we are able to recognize the Internet (IP) address of the computer providing you with Internet access. Our site writes a small data file called a cookie on your computer if you shop for products using the shopping cart or order dated or undated products. No personal information is placed in this file. The file is removed when you exit your browser.

Any information collected is primarily for internal LifeWay use and is not made available to any outside group or organization except other agencies associated with the Southern Baptist Convention or companies working with LifeWay for designated purposes.

Disclosure of Information Practices with Regard to Children as Required by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

Personal information such as the name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, social security number, persistent identifier, or combination of various identifying elements is not collected by LifeWay Christian Resources from children under the age of thirteen. If a child chooses to send an e-mail or other electronic request to LifeWay, LifeWay may respond to that e-mail or request. However, the e-mail address of the child will be deleted and no personal information will be collected, stored, or disclosed. SMS Privacy
 
LifeWay provides many opportunities to engage in communication, one of those is through SMS (Short Message Service or text messaging).  Specifics of these opportunities vary; details are posted on those areas of LifeWay.com that make use of the service. Below are some general facts that apply to all SMS opportunities:

• How to join a text list. Each area of LifeWay operates their own text list. Visit the LifeWay.com area that interests you to see what opportunities are available.
• How to opt-out.  No matter what text list you are part of, you can opt out anytime by texting the word "STOP" or "QUIT" to 32577 and you will be removed from our list.
• Where to get customer support. Support is available by texting the word "HELP" to 32577.
• Cost. Standard message rates apply. The only charges that are incurred are from your mobile service carrier.
• Participating carriers. ATT, Verizon, Sprint, Nextel, Boost, Dobson, Alltel, USCell and Suncom.
