Neophyte rockers Chasen have taken more than one page from Leeland’s book of how to succeed in the Christian music industry. Both bands appropriated the first name of their lead singer/primary songwriter for their moniker. Both bands offer sparkling, radio-ready pop-rock tunes that speak of spiritual things without resorting to church-speak. Both are polished beyond their years. Leeland has already proved their mettle in the marketplace. Whether Chasen will follow suite remains to be seen.
