Church Library Ministry Online Courses
Welcome to the online training venue for church librarians. Here, you have the opportunity to learn more about Church Library Ministry and develop your skills for an intentional ministry. You can also experience the course at your own pace and at your convenience in your own home or library.
For all four online courses, you will want to have a copy of the Church Library Ministry Information Service. Additional resources will be identified with each course.
Now is a great time to experience one of the following four courses written by two of our most popular Church Library Ministry trainers.
E-Church Library Ministry Administration
Starting and managing a church library is an exciting ministry journey. Beth Andrews has prepared an excellent course to challenge church librarians to do their best in providing a library that gets results.
E-Church Library Classification and Cataloging Media
Perhaps the most difficult area of the Church Library Ministry is classifying and cataloging media. Eva Nell Hunter wrote this course based on her many years of experience as both a librarian and trainer.
E-Church Library Collection Development
Collection development is the fun part of Church Library Ministry. However, it can become a source of conflict if not handled wisely. Beth Andrews based this course on her many years of experience as a team leader and a popular conference leader.
E-Promoting the Church Library Ministry
The most creative aspect of Church Library Ministry is the whole area of promoting the use of the library. You will enjoy Eva Nell Hunter’s practical ideas and the many pictures of all sorts of promotion. You will enjoy the frequent “Time Out for Thought” as this course encourages you to create the multiple forms of promotion.
