Ministers' wives are gathering online to discuss their unique thoughts, joys and struggles with each other.

Leighann McCoy shares: When I first read the words Online Community my thoughts were, “will this work?” When I was invited to Lifeway to learn how to be a moderator for their online ministers’ wives community I’d never even posted a prayer request on my church’s site, much less joined any kind of online discussion group. For goodness sake, I still pay my bills with paper checks, envelopes and stamps! What was I doing on an online community?

But, I liked the idea. I may not know what she looks like, where she lives or how many attended Sunday School at her church last Sunday—but she will never tell sister so and so that I said that. She may have actually “been there and done that before and know how I feel.”

SBC Ministers Wives Website: Contagious Joy

Contagious Joy is a website dedicated to Southern Baptist Ministers Wives. It is their goal to connect and network every single Southern Baptist Minister's Wife who would desire to be connected with other women in the SBC serving God. We are living in a day of great extremes in ministry. We see many victories but with those victories especially in the American church we are seeing great strife and overwhelming turmoil resulting in feelings of disillusionment, discouragement, and defeat.
