The Five-Step Formula for Sunday School Growth - Free Training Resources

The 5-Step Formula for Sunday School Growth is a strategy based on the works of Arthur Flake. His work with Sunday Schools in the early 1900s led to the development of this formula for building and growing a Sunday School:

Know the possibilities
Enlarge the organization
Provide the space
Enlist and train the workers
Go after the people

About the author: David Francis is the director of Sunday school in LifeWay's church resources division. Prior to coming to LifeWay, Francis served as the associate pastor and minister of education for First Baptist Church, Garland, Texas, a position he held for 13 years. Francis and his wife, Vicki, teach pre-K Sunday school at Long Hollow Baptist Church, Nashville, Tenn. They have three sons and four grandchildren.
