One of the underlying characteristics of small groups is flexibility. Some groups meet every week, some monthly. Meetings occur in living rooms, in basements, in churches. Some allow kids. All enjoy the radically unpredictable element of human nature and the various contributions of each member.

- Easy. Leaders can be prepared in as little as five minutes. Leader notes are embedded in the study for seamless guidance, and a leader guide at the back provides more helpful hints for group facilitation.
