NASHVILLE, Tenn., 6/30/2008 -- What does that mean – Connect, Grow, Serve, Go? It means resources from LifeWay will be categorized in a way that will meet the needs of churches and their people better than ever. LifeWay’s adult ministry resources team decided it needed a better way to communicate to churches how its resources can better serve the ministries of churches. So they have created a system to help churches understand how each product, service and event it offers will fit into the overall picture of adult spiritual health. They are calling it Connect, Grow, Serve, Go. Connect – This is worship, prayer, fellowship and other relational things that connect people with God, with other Christians and with their church. LifeWay wants to help you get connected on each of these levels. Grow – This is individual and group Bible study, teaching events and other resources that help Christians become stronger and more mature in their faith. Spiritual growth is the core of why LifeWay exists. Serve – When Christians devote their time, talent and treasure to helping other Christians in any way, they’re serving. LifeWay can help churches learn how to serve more effectively. Go – Every Christian is called by Christ to go outside the church walls and tell others about Him. All of LifeWay’s evangelistic resources fall under this banner. Connect, Grow, Serve, Go is not a linear process – a Christian can engage at any point. No matter where they are in their walk, LifeWay is offering this balanced approach to assist them develop every aspect of their spiritual health. To better understand this new way of looking at these four aspects of what we do at church LifeWay invites you to watch a Connect-Grow-Serve-Go Webcourse that further explains Connect, Grow, Serve, Go. The Web course (linked above) is hosted by LifeWay’s Bret Robbe on the www.acrobat.com Website. |
