What
is the registration policy?
2008
Registration Policy for LifeWay Camps
Before February 1: You may reserve your spot at camp anytime before February 1, 2008 with no deposit.
February 1: A $50 per person, non-refundable deposit is required for each reservation to be paid on or before February 1. If you have already registered, you are required to pay a $50 deposit per person to hold your reservation. Any new or additional reservations made after February 1 will require an immediate $50 deposit per person.
May 1 - Cancellation Deadline: All cancellations made after May 1 will incur an additional $50.00 fee for each person dropped. When cancellations occur, deposits cannot be applied toward balance due. **
14 Days Prior to Camp: Final balance must be received 14 days before your arrival at camp. If it is not, your group will be charged a one-time $75.00 late fee.*
*Auto Payment Option: Authorized Group Leaders may give permission to charge the remaining balance to a church LifeWay account or credit card by calling LifeWay Events Registration at 1-877-CAMP-123. This must be done by May 1. Any adjustments for drops or additions will be applied to the specified account after camp.
** Important additional registration information for XFUGE at Edgewater Beach can be found at www.fuge.com/events.
ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
XFUGE AT EDGEWATER ONLY
May 15: Male/female breakdowns must be confirmed by
contacting LifeWay Events Registration at 1-877-CAMP-123. Housing
assignments cannot be changed past this date. Your housing assignments
will be mailed to you via postcard two weeks prior to camp.
To avoid late cancellation charges by the resorts, the TOTAL BALANCE
DUE is non-refundable and non-transferable 14 days prior to your
arrival at camp. We regret that we cannot refund or transfer your
payment after this time.
To participate in the Missions Option at XFUGE you
must register for it by contacting LifeWay Events Registration
at 1-877-CAMP-123 prior to April 1.
What
is housing like?
Participants
at X-Fuge pay by the pillow. For example…a two-bedroom
two-bath condo might have 2 king-sized beds in the
bedrooms and a queen-sized sleeper in the living room. This condo
would sleep 6 people (one per pillow). Plan to prepare your group
for sharing beds and sleeping spaces. Cots will not be provided
by Edgewater.
Condos accommodate 4, 6, or 8 people (an even numbered girl and guy count, lessens your likelihood of sharing a condo with another group). Bed sizes range from full to king.
Priority of housing will be based on order of final payment and girl and guy counts received.
How many adults should we bring?
We encourage
you to bring 1 adult for every 5 students.
What
is the dress code for X-Fuge?
This is
a tough one because we don’t all agree. With that said, we are going
to ask that your students’ dress be clean, neat, and modest. We are
going to ask that you, the student minister, enforce this rule with your
students.
We recommend one piece bathing suits for the females. However, bathing suits and tank tops will be left to the discretion of each youth minister and church. There will be other guests on the property and at the beach so we will see two-piece bathing suits. It is your responsibility to set the guideline you want your church group to live by.
A few non-negotiables that X-Fuge staffers will enforce:
- Bathing suits must be modest (absolutely no string bikinis, swimmer Speedos, and thongs).
- No shirts, hats, or anything else with ads for alcohol, tobacco or distasteful designs.
- Modest shorts, dresses, slacks, and jeans are appropriate for worship.
What
are the ages for X-Fuge?
Graduated
6th graders through graduated 12th graders.
What
does a typical day at X-Fuge look like?

in your camp fee. You are responsible for your own supper on the opening
night of camp and breakfast through closing day. We suggest stocking
your condos with cereal, Pop Tarts, fruit, etc. There is a Publix conveniently
located right across the street from Edgewater!
What
happens at Free Time?
Well,
you’re at the beach!! Free time is free only if you want it free.
THE BEACH. There are also attractions in the area that you might want
to consider for your group. Most of the afternoon will be free.
XFUGE will organize some limited afternoon activities for those that stay on campus (golf scramble, volleyball, Q/A with band and artists).
Can
my group stay in the hotel the night before or the night after camp?
Yes.
You will need to contact Edgewater Resort to make a separate reservation.
Is
there anybody else at Edgewater while we are there?
Sure.
Although we will take up most of the housing at the resort, there is
always the possibility and probability that condo owners will be on campus
at the same time. X-Fuge is the only “group” at the resort.
Also, the resort is gated and under 24 hour security.

Charging to your room
Like any resort you have the option of being able to charge food,
phone calls etc. to your room. This is optional and will require you
to leave your credit card information at the front desk when you arrive.
Don’t forget that there are a number of food options at the resort
including Pizza Hut, and they will deliver.
Room Damages
You will be responsible for any damages that may occur while your
group is staying, whether that damage has been done by someone in your
group or someone visiting your group. Damages will be attached to your
credit card, and the room will be checked during our closing celebration.
If something is broken during the week, please report immediately by
calling the front desk.
Quiet Hours
Although we will be the largest group at Edgewater, we will not
be the only ones at the resort. Therefore we ask that you help us honor
the quiet hour times of the resort from 10 pm to 10 am
Security
In order to get on or off of the property, everyone will have to
have on their person a security band that is provided by Edgewater.
Edgewater will be checking! There is security 7 days a week, 24 hours
a day.
Room Amenities
Each room is equipped with ironing board, telephone, cable TV,
washer and dryer, dishwasher, dishes, etc. These are completely furnished
condos. (Hair dryers are NOT provided.) You will also have sheets and
towels. There will not be maid service during the week, but you will
be able to wash clothes, towels and sheets in the washer and dryer
provided in your room.
Telephone Charges
There is a .60 connection fee for use of the internet. If you do
not have access to an 800 number, there is expensive long distance
charge. Therefore long distance service will be turned off and can
only be turned back on at your request.
Cable TV
Each room has cable TV, and we do not have the option of turning
off the cable feed. You will want to monitor what your students are
watching during the week.
Check Out
Express check out is possible the day before camp ends. Simply
send one person from the church to the front desk. Or you can
check out the last morning by coming by the front desk. Everyone must
be out of their rooms by 9:00 am. These are privately owned condos,
so please keep them clean and treat them as if you were guests at someone’s
home. Rooms will be inspected during our closing session. Before
you leave the room for the last time, we ask that you take the sheets
off beds, stack all towels and sheets in one place, take out the trash,
and wash all dishes. If something is broken during the week,
please report immediately by calling the front desk.
