LifeWay Marriage Events Host Church Request Form

Thank you for your interest in hosting a LifeWay Marriage Event. We are currently accepting requests to host Toward A Growing Marriage featuring Gary Chapman and The Great Marriage Experience featuring Gary and Barb Rosberg.

To be chosen as a LifeWay Marriage Event host, a church must

Have a senior pastor committed to promoting the conference in the church.
Be able to seat comfortably no less than 800 participants, or provide a facility which can accommodate this number of participants.
Recruit at least 5 other churches (can include inter-denominational churches) to act as supporting churches.
Provide a staff person responsible for working/communicating with the LifeWay coordinator for the event, and if needed, a lay leader to help. (It helps for LifeWay to have two contacts even if the staff person is not the person who actually performs the actions required to make this a successful event.) The lay person or staff person serving as coordinator for the host church, will be responsible for guiding a church promotional effort in the church.
Provide light snacks and drinks for breaks during the event.

In support of the conference, LifeWay

Pays for all travel, lodging, and honorarium expenses related to Dr. Chapman or the Rosbergs.
Is responsible for all travel and lodging expenses of our on-site coordinators.
Provides items for churches to use in their promotional efforts. Additional expenses (such as those related to special mailouts, extra printing, and cleaning up after the event) are the responsibility of the host church.
Mails brochures, contacts area churches to support conference, and contacts area radio stations.
Handles all registrations through LifeWay Events Registration. LifeWay will provide a Web page and a toll-free telephone number for registrants to obtain conference and registration information.
