"As I talk with other pastors, we all agree that the church has become a fad-driven culture. However, there is at least one fundamental movement that is not faddish and will never go out of style - personal evangelism. I have not found a more effective tool for cultivating an evangelistic spirit in the church than FAITH Evangelism Training. FAITH is not hype, or a fad, but the work that the Lord has called us to."

    Ted Sherrill
    Pastor
    First Baptist Church, Georgetown, SC
"Since my salvation I have never questioned whether God would have me share my faith in Jesus Christ with others. The question was HOW? Since FAITH Evangelism Training I have had the privilege to pray with my daughter, son, husband, and countless others to receive Jesus Christ. FAITH Evangelism has helped me to have a more intimate walk with Jesus, and I'm discipling others to do the same."

    Dianne W. Burgess
    FAITH Facilitator and Team Leader
    First Baptist Church, Dickson, TN
"FAITH Evangelism for me is in three parts: 1) I was led to a personal relationship with Jesus by a FAITH Team Leader, my wife; 2) I have learned how to witness and lead others to Jesus Christ; and 3) I now serve as a Team Leader teaching others how to proclaim the love of our Savior. It's an awesome journey! Don't miss the wonderful opportunity to tell someone about Jesus."

    T. Gerald Burgess
    FAITH Team Leader
    First Baptist Church, Dickson, TN
"Perhaps my greatest joy as a pastor is equipping people to share their faith and assimilate new people, and then watch as these lay people invest their lives into equipping and training others to share their faith. Intentional evangelism and intentional assimilation have helped our church stop focusing on "growing the church" and start focusing on growing the Kingdom of God. What we have learned is that when we grow the Kingdom of God, God takes care of growing our church. As a pastor these are the things with eternal consequences in which I want to invest my life and ministry!"

    Clay Hallmark
    Pastor
    First Baptist Church, Marion, AR
"Since I attended the FAITH Institute in Daytona this past January we have started our 13th semester of FAITH here at First Baptist Church, Lindale. Two men also traveled with me to Daytona - Pastor Scott Lambert of Desoto Park Baptist Church, Rome, Georgia, and one of his members, Richie Richardson. They went through the Basic training and have since started the first semester of FAITH at Desoto Park Baptist Church, AND they have already had a divine appointment on the first night out to visit (session #2). (They baptized five the Sunday morning before they even visited for the first time!)

"Here at First Baptist Church, Lindale we had previously led a FAITH Force Multiplier event a couple of years ago. We had a small group of churches participating then and they have done well. A couple of those pastors have since been our guest speakers at a subsequent FAITH banquet and shared testimonies about their own first couple of semesters. The testimonies gave us all goose bumps. To make a long story short, one of the pastors and his team visited a woman one night who was visibly, emotionally shaken over "something." Unknown to them throughout the visit was the fact that she was sitting on a cushion upon her couch that underneath concealed a gun. Before the team arrived she was only moments away from committing suicide. God intervened miraculously that night - she gave her life to Christ and was rescued - glory to God.

"Upon returning from Daytona and having the freedom to train other pastors in a more flexible fashion, we have since been contacted by two different pastors and they are “piggy-backing” with us this semester as a means of training and preparation for FAITH in their churches.

"Please continue to move forward with FAITH. God honors obedience to the Great Commission."

    Phil Blanton
    Minister of Education/Business Administration
    First Baptist Church, Lindale, GA
