A LifeWay Event for Senior Adults
2 Great Weeks!
Fall Celebration means a great experience of Bible study, worship, and spiritually-enriching conferences, as well as good food and fellowship.
Modeled after the old-time camp meetings that began more than century ago on the shores of New York’s Lake Chautauqua, these events are perennial favorites of adults of all ages — especially with the 55 and better crowd. That’s because they combine spiritually enriching conferences with scenic beauty in a way that can only be found at LifeWay’s Ridgecrest and Glorieta Conference Centers.
LifeWay Glorieta Conference Center
Glorieta, NM
Oct. 5-9, 2009, featuring keynote speaker Nelson Price, music and worship leader David Mercer, Bible study leader Keith Wiginton, pianist Elmo Mercer, and concert artist Jason Catron
This Fall Celebration will take your breath away, literally. Perhaps it will be the striking beauty of red and yellow leaves against rich evergreens and white-trunked aspen. Or it may simply be the crisp air in the Sangre de Cristo range, which towers more than 7,000 feet above sea level. Add the serenity of Bible study, music and worship, and pleasant time spent with God and friends, and you’re in for a genuinely beautiful experience. For added enjoyment, the shops, museums, and restaurants of Santa Fe are just 20 miles down the road.
LifeWay Ridgecrest Conference Center
Ridgecrest, NC
Oct. 12-16, 2009, featuring keynote speaker Charles Lowery, music and worship leader Ronnie McCarson, Bible study leader Keith Wiginton, pianist Mike Moose, and concert artists Shiloh
Ridgecrest is a lovely destination, but it always seems to shine brightest in fall. The gorgeous autumn color is a beautiful backdrop to inspirational worship services and life-enriching classes. Come learn more about prayer, devotional study, and local crafts — make and learn to play a dulcimer. There will also be a class devoted just for group leaders to discuss future needs of the senior adult 65+ age group. Use your afternoon free time to visit the Biltmore Estates, Billy Graham’s Training Center at “The Cove”, the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, or the quaint little craft stores in Black Mountain.
Join us. And rediscover why autumn is the perfect time of the year to celebrate God’s glory.
