Someone is waiting for a Titus 2 woman...

Scripture is full of examples where one believer encourages and instructs another. Just as Moses mentored Joshua. And Paul was a model for Timothy. So, too, Naomi guided Ruth — helping her to grow both spiritually and personally. The biblical account of their relationship would become the basis of all women’s ministry. In Titus 2, mature Christian women are called to “encourage the young women.” That is, to show them all that is good and faithful... and to support and teach them.

Today, there are countless spiritually-young women who desperately need biblical counsel and encouragement. They may be struggling with issues like dating... or parenting... or cooking... or careers. But many simply live too far away for their own family support group to be effective. That’s when the local church can help — by connecting these spiritually-young women with others who can offer the wisdom of their experience and the insight that comes with spiritual maturity.
