What was Singles Labor Day Weekend is now Singles Memorial Day Weekend. This great time of worship and music will be led by Contemporary Christian singer/songwriter, Kyle Matthews. Kyle's theme will be "Flying Lessons."
In almost two decades of writing and performing his songs, Kyle Matthews has emerged as one of Christian music's most prolific songwriters. Of his over 60 cuts by major artists of disparate genres, he has penned such well known songs as "If You Want Me To," recorded by Ginny Owens, "Everything and Nothing," recorded by Vince Gill, "One and the Same," recorded by Cece Winans, "God Forbid," recorded by Point of Grace, and "Been Thru the Water," recorded by Kyle.
Kyle lives in Nashville with his wife Susan and children Emily and Christopher, writing for Universal Music Group and traveling to perform and speak. In April of 2006, his Alma Mater, Furman University, awarded him the Richard Furman Baptist Heritage Award recognizing "a graduate who reflects Baptist ideals by thinking critically, living compassionately and making life changing commitments."
