LeaderCare Retreats are 5-day events that help hurting and discouraged ministers and their spouses experience a greater sense of hope, and promote movement toward their restoration. The retreats offer a safe and confidential environment to process personal and professional concerns. LeaderCare retreats are for ministers and their spouses who are dealing with forced termination, marital struggles, church problems, depression, anxiety, stress, burnout, immorality, or other similar issues.

Well-seasoned retreat leaders with training in the disciplines of theology and psychology use instructive, group, and experiential approaches to facilitate healing and growth. Individual counseling is also available to retreat participants.

The costs of the Retreat and the costs associated with travel, lodging, and meals will be covered by LifeWay.

• All interested parties must complete an application. Once the application is reviewed, individuals will be notified. Each retreat is limited to 16 couples. Spouses are required to attend unless there are extenuating circumstances. Single ministers are welcome to participate.

• Childcare is not provided at this event. Participants are encouraged to make arrangements for their children prior to attending, as the retreat schedule is very intense. The retreats are scheduled at locations that provide a safe and confidential environment with opportunities for renewal and reflection.
